New District Court Erkelenz - structural workThe new building of the district court Erkelenz consists of an articulated structure with a six-storey range to the Konrad-Adenauer-Platz and a two-storey range to the Cologne road. By a uniformly rotating facade design of the buildings appear as a unified whole. It is located opposite the train station Erkelenz and forms as the prelude to the end building KE[micro]lnerstraE-e as the main shopping street of the city. With the different eaves heights of the building responds to the heterogeneous level of development environment. The extension of the building to the Konrad-Adenauer-Platz is 26,50 m, for KE[micro]lnerstraE-e the building is 30.10 m long. From the 2nd floor, it bounces back along the pedestrian zone in the northeast to 3.60 m to 7.20 m to the northwest. The six-storey building part measures 22.90 mx 22.90 m.
