BLAINE'S A PAIN; Magic ace Barry slams rival David.
MAGICIAN Keith Barry has launched a scathing attack on his superstar rival David Blaine.
The 27-year-old has branded New York illusionist Blaine as "dull and boring" and also admitted he doesn't tune in to see his elaborate TV stunts.
"Druid Master" Barry said: "I will always have a special place in my heart for somebody like Paul Daniels because he was the first big European magician.
"But I find the human endurance stuff Blaine does inherently boring.
"I don't think it's entertaining or interesting at any level. It would bore me to tears to watch that to be honest.
"I suppose Blaine and I are rivals of sorts because we both had our own shows on American TV.
"But I'm being honest when I say those things like suspending yourself in a glass box over the Thames for a month seems pointless to me."
Barry, from Dublin, became a star after hitting the big time with his own TV series in Ireland and the US.
And his show Close Encounters With Keith Barry was a hit in 28 countries.
