 BLACK ENTERPRISE MAGAZINE PUBLISHER EARL GRAVES TO LECTURE AT PITT
 PITTSBURGH, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- People interested in surviving the business climate of the '90s can hear tips from one of America's greatest success stories, Black Enterprise's Earl Graves.
 Graves will speak at the University of Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 7:15 p.m., in David Lawrence Hall. Prior to the lecture, at 5:30 p.m., a reception, open to the public, will be held in rooms 2M56 and 2P56.
 Considered a role model to many African-Americans climbing the corporate ladder, Graves is president and CEO of Earl G. Graves, Ltd., the parent company of Earl Graves Publishing, as well as chairman and CEO of Pepsi-Cola's Washington, D.C., franchise, the largest minority- controlled Pepsi-Cola franchise in the United States. Graves acquired the Pepsi franchise in 1990 with his partner, Magic Johnson.
 "Mr. Graves has been a voice in the Pepsi community for almost three years now," said Pepsi Penn-West Area Marketing Manager Don Boerema. "He's an impressive entrepreneur, and his forecast for 1992 will be interesting."
 Graves' presentation is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) and is underwritten by several local corporations, including Pepsi Penn-West, Giant Eagle, Duquesne Light and the COMPUTERPEOPLE. The pre-lecture reception will be held from 5:30 tp 7 p.m. Reception and lecture tickets are available at the door for $50.00; tickets for the lecture only are $25; students, $15.00. All proceeds benefit the fund for the Community Computer Center, a public computer-awareness facility being developed by the BDPA.

 The Black Data Processing Associates is a non-profit professional organization, composed of 41 national chapters who are committed to promoting computer awareness and literacy in the African-American community.
 Pepsi Penn-West, with field offices throughout western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and New York, is headquartered in Pittsburgh.
