BITTER PIL FOR STUR; Watford v Plymouth.

PAUL STURROCK has warned his Plymouth squad they are playing for their futures at Watford tonight.

The Pilgrims have taken just two points from their opening five games and are bottom of the Championship.

Sturrock (above) said: "We have to clear the decks of the people I feel are not appropriate for Plymouth.

"At any football club I have been at in the past the players weren't the most technically gifted but they were honest, hard-working and prepared to die for each other.

"There are not too many out there showing that kind of make-up."
