Pollok's Graeme McLaren was sent off for allegedly biting Paul Woods as his side crashed out of the West of Scotland Cup.

Woods saw red for retaliation while Peasy also had Jordan Murch and co–boss Willie Paterson dismissed.

But the nine men snatched victory with six minutes to go thanks to a fluke from sub Paul McQuilken.

Whistler David McKniff seemed to lose control of the game when Paterson was sent packing for allegedly swearing at him in 73 minutes.

Murch joined his boss in being banished moments later when he harshly picked up a second yellow card for handball when it looked like it had come off his chest.

Two more reds were flashed seconds later as McLaren and Woods clashed.

The Peasy star lashed out after accusing McLaren of biting him on the nose and McKniff sent both off amid astonishing scenes.

The match was level at 1–1 at the time after Richie Barr's deflected free–kick for Pollok had been cancelled out by a Stephen McGladrigan strike.

Pollok looked set to grab a thirdround place with the extra man but McQuilken's cross–cum–shot then embarrassed Stephen Robertson as it bounced over him and into the top corner for Peasy's winner.

Opposite number Steven McNeil had sympathy for Robertson and said: "He had an outstanding game but it's a keeper's nightmare when it bounces like that."
