BIO-VASCULAR ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Bio-Vascular, Inc.
(NASDAQ: BVAS), a St. Paul, Minn., company, announced that Robert Nelson has joined the management team as vice president of operations.
Nelson was formerly the director of U.S. operations for Rexton, Inc. of Plymouth, Minn. Rexton, Inc., a Swiss-based division of Siemens AG of Munich, Germany, is involved in the distribution and manufacturing of custom hearing aids. Prior to his employment with Rexton, Inc., Nelson was the director of quality, manufacturing and engineering for Medtronic, Inc.'s Heart Valve Division. John H. Darnall, Jr., chief executive officer of Bio-Vascular, Inc., stated, "Mr. Nelson's experience and skills will be important to our growth and development. We are very pleased that he has joined the Bio-Vascular team." Bio-Vascular, Inc., is a manufacturer and distributor of proprietary consumable medical products used in cardiac and vascular surgery.
