BILL CLINTON, AL GORE TO APPEAR ON 'NASHVILLE NOW'
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Democratic presidential

candidate Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, along with vice presidential hopeful Al Gore Jr. and his wife Tipper, will be guests on "TNN: The Nashville Network's" live weeknight talk/variety series "Nashville Now" on Wednesday, Aug. 26. The 90-minute program, hosted by Ralph Emery, will be telecast at 9 p.m. (repeats at midnight; all times Eastern).
This is the first time that Gov. Bill Clinton of Arkansas and Sen. Al Gore of Tennessee will make an appearance on The Nashville Network. However, appearances by presidential hopefuls are not new to The Nashville Network. In 1987, "Nashville Now" played host to then Vice President George Bush. Nashville Now has extended an invitation for President Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle to appear during the campaign.
Bill Turner is the producer of "Nashville Now"; Paul Corbin is executive producer.
