BIG SPENDER DAY; EXCLUSIVE Flatley sets aside EUR1m to give Niamh her dream wedding.

BIG spender Michael Flatley is splashing out 1million on his wedding to Niamh O'Brien, the Irish Daily Mirror can reveal.

The dance king will stage one of the most lavish showbiz weddings ever and has already hired a team of top wedding planners.

While Flatley won't reveal the date or location of his big day, he has already approved the EUR1million budget.

And the star has even told his huge dance troupe who perform in his Celtic Tiger show that they will be performing at his reception.

He will also be stumping up the money to fly many of his showbiz pals to the wedding location by private jet - at a cost of EUR40,000 a trip.

A pal of the star revealed last night: "This wedding is going to make Victoria and David Beckham's Irish wedding look like a small family affair.

"Michael sees his wedding as his biggest show ever and he wants his guests to have a magical experience.

"As soon as he announced his engagement to Niamh the plans swung into action.

"The wedding will definitely happen before Christmas."

Flatley plans to raid his huge wine cellar at his Castlehyde mansion and treat guests to EUR1,000-a-bottle red wine with a sumptuous six-course meal.

The intensely cautious star will also spend over e100,000 on security to ensure nobody gate-crashes the big day.

Pals say Flatley will definitely tie the knot in Ireland and venues such as Castle Leslie and Luttrellstown Castle will be among the favourites to stage the big day.

Here's the Irish Mirror's exclusive guide to how Flatley will be

splashing some of the cash for his wedding.

FLATLEY will fly in his millionaire pals from the showbiz world on a fleet of private jets.

He will also lay on helicopters and limousines on the day to whisk guests to the church and wedding venue.

The source said: "Michael wants his friends from all over the world to be there and he will be taking care of the transport costs."

BOOZE: EUR120,000

THE dancer has made no secret of his love of fine wine and expensive champagne.

His vintage wine collection is rumoured to be worth a fortune.

Guests will be treated to bottles of EUR300-a-time Krug champagne to toast their marriage and EUR200 bottles of wine, selected personally by Flatley, during the meal.

Add to that the free bar and it's easy to see how the lucky guests will have plenty to dance about on the big night.

FLATLEY doesn't do things by halves and he's rumoured to be commissioning a unique dress made by a top French designer.

The star will think nothing of spending EUR100,000 on Niamh's outfit to make her the perfect princess.

BACK stage at a Michael Flatley show is like Fort Knox so security will be a priority for the big day.

He has a team of former CIA minders who guard his every move wherever he goes.

And a huge fence will be erected around the chosen venue.

Flatley said recently: "I take my security very seriously.

"You can never be too careful about these things."

FLATLEY will take over the entire venue for his 500 guests and a number of other top hotels in the surrounding areas to cope with the huge numbers.

He'll be paying an accommodation bill well over e100,000 for their two-night stay.

FOOD: EUR170,000

A MAN who eats EUR50-a-time steak for his breakfast will be pulling out all the stops to put on a feast fit for a dancing king at the wedding reception.

He will be contacting some of the top Michelinstar chefs around the world to hire them for his do.

Flatley wants to put on the ultimate banquet including EUR100-aportion foie gras and fresh lobster - and that's just for starters.

PALS of Flatley say he will resist the chance of treating guests to a display of his dazzling dance moves.

But he WILL be asking his Celtic Tiger dancers to perform a segment of the show at the lavish reception.

He will also be hiring a top jazz band to perform at the drinks reception.
