BIG SKY USA ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENT OF ORGANIK, A 100-PERCENT COTTON, NO-SHRINK JERSEY FABRIC

TACOMA, Wash., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Sky USA Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: BSUI) announced today the development of a 100-percent cotton, no-shrink lightweight jersey fabric to be added to the already existing Organik(R) family of products. This product will provide the company with a much-needed fabric to enter future spring and summer sales seasons. This product, in combination with the company's lightweight French terry Organik fabric, is designed to strengthen company revenues in what has historically been weak second and third fiscal quarters. This expanded family of Organik fabrics will allow the company to market products in the fall season with its fleece and heavyweight French terry, and the spring season with its lighter-weight French terry and jersey product.
In addition to its existing and developing network of customers, the company is continuing to look into new methods of distribution of its Organik family of products, including possible joint venture and licensing arrangements with leading companies in the garment industry.
Big Sky USA Inc. designs, manufactures and distributes casual clothing made from Organik, its exclusive shrinkfree and wrinkle- resistant 100-percent cotton fabrics. Big Sky's founder, Finn Walstad, invented the proprietary manufacturing process which produces the only all-natural, 100-percent combed cotton heavyweight fleece in the world that is completely shrinkproof and virtually wrinkle-free. The process also increases the wearability and durability of the fabric. Organik is manufactured without toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde, copper and chromium salts or thermosetting resins.
In addition to producing clothing under its own labels, Big Sky manufactures private-label Organik sportswear for several of the nation's premier catalog merchants and provides contract-manufacturing services in its 70,000-square-foot factory to high-end sportswear companies who require quality construction using specialty materials.
