BI AWARDED ILLINOIS MONITORING CONTRACT BOULDER, Colo., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- BI Inc.
(NASDAQ/NMS: BIAC), the industry leader in electronically monitored systems for corrections, today announced that it has received a contract from the Illinois Department of Corrections to monitor parolees in its home detention program. These offenders will be monitored by BI's subsidiary, BI Monitoring Corp.
Initial monitoring levels will begin at approximately 250 units. BI's Vice President of Sales Richard Willmarth said, "Illinois is a key account with substantial recurring revenue potential. BI has worked with the Illinois Department of Corrections for the past two years in conjunction with another vendor. Illinois' new contract with BI signals their satisfaction with our performance at a time when they anticipate large program growth." David J.
