 BI AND CINCINNATI MICROWAVE ANNOUNCE MERGER
 OF BI WITH GUARDIAN TECHNOLOGIES
 BOULDER, Colo., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- BI Inc. (NASDAQ: BIAC), and Cincinnati Microwave Inc. (NASDAQ: CNMV), announced today the signing of a letter of intent to merge Guardian Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Cincinnati Microwave, into BI. BI and Cincinnati Microwave also announced their intention to enter into a strategic partnership to engineer and manufacture new products for the home incarceration market. The transactions are expected to be completed by mid-April 1992.
 A BI spokesperson disclosed the combined transactions will be valued at $13 million.
 David Hunter, BI's president and CEO, said, "BI is very pleased with our new association with Cincinnati Microwave, and we look forward to strengthening our market position in 1993 and beyond, through joint product engineering and assembly."
