BI'S DISTRIBUTOR WINS INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT

 BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- BI Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: BIAC), the industry leader in electronically monitored systems for corrections, today announced that its Canadian distributor, Justice Electronic Monitoring Inc., has received a reinstatement of a multi-year contract from British Columbia's Ministry of Attorney General. The contract calls for Justice Electronic Monitoring to provide BI's electronic home arrest systems to British Columbia's four mainland programs.
 Justice, which has Canadian distribution rights for BI's products, initiated the first Canadian electronically monitored home arrest program with the British Columbia Department of Corrections in 1987. Additionally, they placed BI's systems in Saskatchewan in 1989 and in the Yukon in 1991.
 BI holds the largest domestic and international market share for electronically monitored home arrest products and services, having shipped 36,700 home arrest units as of June 30, 1993.
