BHOYS TARGETING KILLIE ACE TAYLOR.

Byline: SCOTT BURNS

CELTIC boss Neil Lennon had Scotland star Greg Taylor watched as he prepares to step up his search for Kieran Tierney's replacement.

Hoops scout Tosh McKinlay compiled a report on the left-back (left) as his Kilmarnock side lost 2-0 at Hamilton on Saturday.

Taylor is among the names under consideration to replace Tierney, who completed his PS25 million move to Arsenal last week.

Manager Lennon is set for talks with chief executive Peter Lawwell and his recruitment team this week as they look to strengthen their squad for the domestic campaign and what they hope will be a prolonged Champions League assault.

Derby County defender Max Lowe, who was at Aberdeen on loan, is another option on Celtic's list although Taylor would be a cheaper option.

Taylor is also on the radar of Nurnberg, with the German side having already had a bid turned down.
