BG&E WITHDREW ITS CLAIM AGAINST PACIFIC SCIENTIFIC CO.
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Scientific Co. (NYSE: PSX) said today that Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. has withdrawn its complaint against the company, filed last month. The complaint involved a product warranty claim for load management switches, delivered in 1989 and 1990. The on-going discussions between the two companies involve the purchase of a new product and the exchange of the previously delivered units. The company said its warranty reserves are adequate to cover this settlement. The company designs, manufactures and markets electrical equipment and aircraft safety equipment.
