 BFGOODRICH AEROSPACE AT FARNBOROUGH
 AKRON, Ohio, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Following is a memorandum for

editors from BFGoodrich Aerospace:
 Pioneering aerospace company offering a greatly expanded line of products and services, including:
 -- Carbon-carbon brakes for Boeing 777, 747-400; Airbus A-330/340 and General Dynamics F-16;
 -- A breakthrough stall warning and contamination advisory system from JET;
 -- Navigation, weather mapping and collision warning systems, including TACAN, DME, STORMSCOPE and TCAS-1 from BFGoodrich FlightSystems;
 -- Airport and aircraft lighting equipment from Godfrey Engineering;
 -- Computer-based avionics test equipment from JcAIR;
 -- Low combustibility thermoplastics for aircraft interior applications from Specialty Chemicals Division.
 Special Feature: WWII artifacts from B-17 and P-38 aircraft buried for 50 years beneath the Greenland icecap and recovered by the Greenland Expedition Society. This effort has been the subject of some interest in aviation circles for many years -- the first problem was to find and verify the location of the eight abandoned aircraft, which had been shifted one mile from the crash site by movement of the glacier and were covered by 250 feet of ice. The next move, a year later, involved reaching, inspecting and recovering equipment from a B-17. This year, team members have reached and inspected a P-38 and, as of June 28, are in the process of disassembly and recovery.
 Photos Available -- Display and videotape documenting the effort will be presented by BFGoodrich Aerospace (the first corporate sponsor of the Society), Stand H12, Hall 4.
 Leaders of the expedition will be on hand for media interviews on Press Day, Sept. 6.
