BFD INDUSTRIES VOLUNTARILY DELISTS FROM THE VANCOUVER STOCK EXCHANGE

 MARKHAM, Ontario, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- BFD Industries Inc. (NASD Bulletin Board: BFDIF) today announced that it has voluntarily delisted from the Vancouver Stock Exchange (VSE). Effective the close of trading on Friday July 16, 1993, its common stock will no longer be traded on the VSE.
 Effective Monday, July 19, 1993, BFD's common stock can only be traded on the National Association of Securities Dealers' (NASD) Over-The-Counter (OTC) electronic Bulletin Board System.
 "We have elected to trade only in the United States because the majority of our shareholders are U.S. residents," Al Millar, BFD President, stated. "We wish to provide our shareholders with the convenience of trading our stock in U.S. dollars and believe that the NASD Bulletin Board will provide the most liquid market for our stock at this time," Millar noted.
 BFD Industries Inc. develops, manufactures and markets infection control and wound care products for the medical and dental markets. BFD has facilities in Atlanta, Birmingham and Huntsville (Ala.), Janesville (Wis.) and Salt Lake City.
