JUKE BOX HEROES - THE VERY BEST OF FOREIGNER (Music Club De-Luxe) * FOREIGNER took hard rock music and gave it a radio friendly sheen, bringing the band great success on both sides of the big pond and notching up sales of around 50 million records.

The songs of Mick Jones, delivered by gravely voiced Lou Gramm conquered the States, and eventually, Jones' home country of Great Britain. This 2 CD package contains just about everything you want to hear and features tracks from across five hit albums, including the chart topping 1984 long player, Agent Provocateur.

Highlights include the big UK hit singles I Want to Know What Love Is and Waiting For a Girl Like You, plus USA chart successes Cold as Ice, Feels Like the First Time, Hot Blooded, Long Way From Home, Double Vision, Juke Box Hero, That Was Yesterday, Urgent, Dirty White Boy and Head Games.

CHARLIE RICH - THE COMPLETE SMASH SESSIONS (ACE) * BORN in Colt, Arkansas in 1933, singer/song writer/pianist Charlie Rich, The Silver Fox, is best known for his big Seventies country hits Behind Closed Doors and The Most Beautiful Girl in the World. But before that Charlie Rich flirted with all manner of music.

He first charted in the USA with rock 'n' roll classic Lonely Weekends in 1960. It would be five years before he scored again with the novelty hit, Mohair Sam.

That's included on this 29 track compilation CD of the 18 months he spent on the American Smash label. Other highlights include the self-penned It Ain't Gonna Be That Way and William Cook's You Can Have Her.
