BEST WESTERN ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST HOTEL IN VENEZUELA; CARACAS ALL-SUITES IS DOWNTOWN LANDMARK

PHOENIX, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its strategic development plan in the Western Hemisphere, Best Western International has announced its first hotel in Venezuela -- The Best Western CCT Hotel in the heart of the capital city of Caracas.
"Venezuela is a major outbound travel market," according to Werner Braum, Best Western's director of International Membership Development. "The people are frequent international travelers. Positioning Best Western in Venezuela is an important step in establishing international brand recognition in South America."
Venezuela is the 49th country in Best Western's International operations, and the fourth in South America. Other Best Western properties are currently operating in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. A recently completed agreement is scheduled to introduce Best Western in Chile by the end of the year, Braum added.
The Best Western CCT Hotel is a four-star, all-suites high-rise at the heart of the capital's central business district, the Centro Comercial Tamanaco. The 150-suite hotel features two restaurants, tennis courts, lounge and business center. Located on top of the continent's largest shopping complex -- a huge, four-story commercial mall -- it also offers the best shopping in South America.
