BEST OF THE REST.

CELEBRITY CRYSTAL MAZE Channel 4, 8pm WHERE else would you find politician Ann Widdecombe furiously lobbing sandbags at targets while shouting Jeremy Corbyn's name? This is perhaps the most barmy of game shows, made all the more eccentric by Richard Ayoade's gleeful sarcasm.

Joining Ann are actress Sunetra Sarker, TV broadcaster Matthew Wright, Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson and Love Island hunk Wes Nelson.

There are plenty of entertaining moments, not least when Richard mentions the erotic tension between him and Ann, then asks her to do an eye roll to camera.

Later on, Matthew is suspended over a puzzle by a harness as if he's in Mission Impossible. Wes rope-walks over water, Nikki becomes an arsonist and Sunetra has to stop all the clocks.

All in all, expect more frantic yelling, running in unflattering grey jumpsuits and chaotic jumping around a dome in the final challenge.

STILL GAME BBC1, 9pm SOME gallows humour in this episode, which kicks off with talk of death and a coffinmeasuring game between the pensioners.

Isa (Jane McCarry), pictured with pals Jack and Victor, is spooked when Sheathing the undertaker offers her a cleaning job at his funeral parlour. She doesn't like the thought of dusting close to death but reluctantly makes a deal.

Meanwhile, in other bad news, Winston (Paul Riley) is gearing up for the usual banter with his GP. However, the laughs stop short when the doctor delivers a devastating diagnosis about his leg.

Meanwhile at The Clansman, Tam tries to con Boaby but his miserly ways push the barman too far and he finds himself barred. He will need to find a new watering hole, but it won't be easy.
