BELL INDUSTRIES RECEIVES AUTHORIZATION TO DISTRIBUTE CONNECTORS OFFERED BY BURNDY CORP.
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Bell Industries Inc. (NYSE: BI) announced today that it has received authorization to distribute nationally the full line of commercial and industrial connectors offered by Burndy Corp., an FCI Co. Bell's Electronics Distribution Group will distribute throughout the United States connectors offered by Burndy for use in a wide variety of industrial and electronics products. Included in the Burndy line are IC sockets, edge card connectors, circular connectors, rack and panel, terminals, connectors for harsh environment, D-Subminiature, DIN, IDC, and connectors for flat cable. Headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., Burndy is a member company of Framatome Connectors International, a worldwide producer of electronic and electrical connectors with manufacturing facilities and sales offices throughout the world. Products from Framatome Connectors International (FCI) include the well-known brand names of Burndy, Souriau, Jupiter, Connectral and Daut & Reitz. In announcing receipt of the Burndy authorization, Bruce M.
