BELL CANADA COMPANY TO MARKET SYNCHRONY; TELEPARTNER INTERNATIONAL AND
 IIS TECHNOLOGIES SIGN AGREEMENT
 FARMINGTON, Conn., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Telepartner International today announced that IIS Technologies, a Bell Canada Company, has been named the exclusive Canadian distributor for Synchrony (TM), the only third generation electronic software distribution product currently available. Previously, Synchrony was marketed throughout Canada by Telepartner's direct sales force.
 Based in Toronto, IIS Technologies is one of Canada's most successful communications companies and has consistently brought innovative, state-of-the-art technology, such as the LU6.2 communications protocol, to the Canadian marketplace. In marketing Synchrony, IIS is again demonstrating its commitment to providing customers with premier software solutions.
 Synchrony is a fully integrated product that automates the scheduling, distribution, installation, and retrieval of programs and data files between both remote and local workstations. Synchrony also automates the entire process of managing software distribution, application updates, data and reports. In addition it collects data for consolidated reporting or backup.
 Tom Kelly, vice president of marketing and sales, Telepartner International, emphasized IIS' ability to market the Synchrony product in Canada.  IIS Technologies markets, develops and integrates hardware and software products in the IBM, DEC, MS/DOS, UNIX, PICK and Mac environments. Formed in 1987, the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Canada and employs over 100 people. Its annual revenues for fiscal 1992 will exceed $20 million.

 IIS' customers include the majority of Canadian Federal Government Ministries, inclusive of Supply and Services, Revenue & Taxation, Agriculture, Veterans Affairs and National Defense. Other customers include Shell Worldwide, American Express, Boeing, Ontario Hydro, BP Resources, EDS, Spar Aerospace and all affiliated telephone companies under Stentor (Telecom Canada).
 Telepartner International develops, markets and supports software solutions for micro, midrange, and mainframe connectivity and electronic software distribution.
