DALLAS, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- DSC Communications Corporation and Bell Atlantic Network Services, Inc. announced today the signing of an agreement for the delivery of Next Generation Digital Loop Carrier (NGDLC) equipment. The renewed two-year agreement for DSC's Litespan(R)-2000, the telecommunications industry's first integrated Synchronous Optical Network (SONET)-based optical loop carrier system, provides for DSC to continue to supply a significant portion of Bell Atlantic's NGDLC requirements.
