GRAND OPERA HOUSE THEATRE TOURS Dates: Running until Saturday 24 March Times: Selected Saturdays, 10.30am Venue: Grand Opera House, Belfast This tour includes a fascinating insight into the people behind the design and early management of the Theatre, its rich and colourful history, the line-up of performers and the building's survival through Northern Ireland's Troubles. MIXED TASTES Date: Friday 16 March Time: 8pm - 9pm Venue: Accidental Theatre, Belfast Mixed Tastes is based on the simple idea of inviting different talkers from vastly divergent industries, backgrounds, philosophies and politics to have a chat about what they do, how they do it and what we can learn from it. This event is free but booking is required. FEILE AN EARRAIGH Dates: Running until 18 March Times: Various Venue: Various throughout Gaeltacht Quarter Feile an Earraigh presents a wide variety of arts and cultural events in the week leading up to and including St Patrick's Day. Expect traditional music and dancing, master-classes, school workshops, concerts, tours and walks and much more. GILBERT AND GEORGE: SCAPEGOATING PICTURES FOR BELFAST Dates: Running until 22 April Times: Mon - Sun, 10am - 7pm Venue: The MAC, Belfast Scapegoating pictures for Belfast is the first significant presentation of work by Gilbert and George in Ireland since their attentiongrabbing exhibition at Ormeau Baths Gallery in 1999. The body of work presented in this exhibition describes the volatile, tense, accelerated and mysterious reality of our increasingly technological, multi-faith and multi-cultural world. Admission is free.

WRITING FICTION: EDITING AND EVERYTHING AFTER Date: Saturday 17 March Time: 1pm - 4.30pm Venue: Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast Take the pain out of editing and the mystery out of query letters as this workshop explores aspects of getting your work ready to send out and what to do when it's ready to go. Bring an excerpt of around 1500 words to the workshop. Ticket prices range from PS21 - PS25.

INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY: ONE-DAY COURSE Date: Saturday 17 March Time: 10am - 4pm Venue: Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast Get tips on composition and framing, how to use free editing software and methods of backing up and storing your photographs. This workshop is great for anyone with a camera who wants to improve their eye and skills behind the lens as this course will cover technical info and practical elements as you head out as a group to take photos and practice the skills covered with the amazing variety of scenery near the Crescent. Students must bring their own camera to the workshop.

To book your place, visit THE ORPHEUS BALL Date: Saturday 17 March Time: 8pm - 10pm Venue: Accidental Theatre, Belfast To celebrate St Patrick's Day, Accidental Theatre have brought together a cavalcade of Irish and Northern Irish musical talent to provide an alternative Ulster extravaganza. They'll have a lineup of artists and groups from across the island to excite, provoke, inform and entertain, all housed in their pop-up theatre on Shaftesbury Square. Tickets cost PS8.
