BECTON DICKINSON IMMUNOCYTOMETRY SYSTEMS APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL MANAGER

 SAN JOSE, Calif., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Becton Dickinson Immunocytometry Systems (BDIS) has announced the appointment of Deborah J. Neff to the position of vice president, general manager, reporting to Nagesh Mhatre, president of BDIS.
 Neff joined BDIS in 1988 as director of Reagent Operations and most recently was vice president of operations, responsible for instrument and reagent manufacturing, quality, facilities and materials management. In her new role, Neff will additionally be responsible for leading world wide strategic marketing efforts and several general management projects.
 Neff brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare and medical technology to the vice president, general manager position. Prior to joining BDIS, Neff held senior management positions with Organon-Teknika Corp. and Cooper Biomedical. She holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of California, Davis, as well as certifications resulting from two years of graduate study in medical technology and immunohematology.
 BDIS manufactures the most comprehensive and powerful product line of cell-analysis systems available to research and clinical investigators, including highly sophisticated flow cytometers, computer software and monoclonal antibody reagents to analyze, isolate and characterize immune cells from blood and tissue.
