BCCI urges national unity.

Manama, March 18 (BNA)--A call has gone out by Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to exert massive efforts to restore security to the kingdom and bring life back to normal to put the economic process back on the fast track. It also called on all sides to calm down the situation in this exceptional circumstance Bahrain is going through.

The chamber condemned acts of sabotage and attacks which targeted commercial outlets, vital roads, citizens and expatriates urging all people to abide by the instructions of Bahrain Defence Force in enforcing the state of national security. It also called on the government to ensure resumption of work at ministries and government establishments to boost people's sense of security.

BCCI appealed to the private sector to cope with the current situation by taking the necessary measures to ensure economic and commercial activities go back to normal so as to cater for people's needs. It also urged self-restraint among citizens and called on them to shun sectarianism and hold on to national unity in order to preserve national achievements.
