BCAA Offers Self-guided Electric Vehicle Tour Package.

The British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) recently announced the launch of a new Vancouver summer sightseeing tour in an electric vehicle.

According to BCAA, the "Electric Green" self-guided tour package, which runs from $180 plus tax per person, includes two nights' accommodations in one of three Vancouver hotels, a sightseeing discount book and the use of a Dynasty IT electric vehicle provided by Electra City, which will be dropped off and picked up at the hotel daily.

BCAA noted that the IT, or Innovative Transportation, is an electric vehicle available as a sedan or a convertible with a top speed of 40 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 50 km per charge.

BCAA said stand-alone rentals of the electric vehicles are also available for $149 plus tax per vehicle per day.
