BAYONET IS A CUT ABOVE; WINNER MACHINE.

Byline: DAVE MITCHELL

THERE are plenty of additions to our list this week following some interesting racing, especially at Exeter.

Some of you will be thinking yours truly has completely lost it by my decision to add the seemingly moderate Ice Konig to the list after he was beaten by 41 lengths at Exeter on Tuesday.

But there was a lot more to that run than meets the eye and it's of massive interest that the Jimmy Frost-trained grey is now qualified for handicap hurdles.

He is one, hopefully, for another day, but GAITWAY is up for the job today.

He clocked a huge rating for a bumper horse when winning at Newbury and this superbly bred hurdling debutante looks special.

TAGRITA won her only point-to-point and scored three times for Paul Nicholls over timber last term.

Her future lies over fences, but is good enough to take this on the way to going chasing.

KINGS BAYONET was on the final Flat list on the back of an eye-catching run at York.

He was far too free that day and the guaranteed strong pace in the November Handicap will suit ideally.

TODAY'S SELECTIONS

Doncaster 3.35 Kings Bayonet. Wincanton 12.20 Gaitway, 2.05 Tagrita.
