 BASF STRUCTURAL MATERIALS ANNOUNCES SALE OF CONTINUOUS
 HONEYCOMB MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
 CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- BASF Structural Materials, Inc., today announced it sold honeycomb manufacturing technology it had co-developed with Thermoplastic Products Corporation (TPC) to Hexcel Corporation of Dublin, Calif.
 David Forest, president, BASF Structural Materials, indicated, "Hexcel was a logical buyer for this technology given its worldwide leadership position in honeycomb materials."
 Forest further noted this particular technology was not in any way related to BASF's recent announcement of March 10 regarding the decision to sell its Advanced Composites Materials Business which includes carbon fibers, prepregs and structural adhesives.
