 BASE TEN SYSTEMS ISSUES ANNOUNCEMENT
 TRENTON, N.J., March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Edward J. Klinsport,

International Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Base Ten Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: BASEA) reported first quarter 1992 revenues of $6.7 million and net earnings of $7,500 compared with revenues of $8.1 million and a net loss of $162,000 or $.05 per share in the first quarter of 1991.
The company also announced that it has further reduced outstanding borrowings under its line of credit by $600,000 to $2.4 million. The difference in performance was attributed to a resizing of the company to reflect current market opportunities.
As noted in its Annual Report, the company plans to generate revenue from current contracts while seeking additional government orders proportional to announced budgets. Simultaneously, the company is aggressively pursuing the growth markets of Radio Tags, Medical Software and Communications Security.
