BASE TEN HOLDS SPECIAL SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING TRENTON, N.J., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Base Ten Systems, Inc.
(NASDAQ-NMS: BASEA) today announced the election of three new directors at a Special Shareholders' Meeting held on Aug. 24, 1992.
Donald M. Daniels, chief executive officer of Meeker, Sharkey, Daniels, was previously chairman and chief executive officer of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey from 1987 to 1991. Alex Adelson, chief executive officer of RTS Research Labs and former chief technical consultant to Symbol Technologies, Inc., has been engaged as a consultant by the company since March of 1992, concentrating on medical software and portable memory engines. Alan Eisenberg, a vice president of Base Ten since 1983, is responsible for the management of the company's software engineering and is the principal architect of the company's primary weapons systems products. As previously reported, the board of directors has been expanded to permit the election of directors with experience in areas presenting opportunities for application of the company's newer products, such as health care.
