BARBARA LINTHICUM NAMED PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF EDGEMARK BANK, ROSEMONT

 CHICAGO, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago-based EdgeMark Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: EDGE) today announced that Barbara J. Linthicum, 34, has been named president and chief executive officer of its EdgeMark Bank, Rosemont unit.
 Linthicum previously served as vice president of commercial lending at EdgeMark Financial's Merchandise National Bank unit. She began her career in 1985 at Continental Bank of Chicago and was named an assistant vice president at Continental Bank of Oak Brook Terrace in 1986. Prior to joining EdgeMark, Linthicum was a commercial lending officer and assistant vice president for Exchange Bank, Chicago.

"Her leadership abilities and proven record of portfolio management are well suited to the needs of the EdgeMark Bank, Rosemont market."
 Linthicum holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. She currently resides in the western suburbs with her family.
