BANKERS OR BLOWOUTS?

Dannios 2.10 Salisbury SP forecast 6-4 This lightly raced five-year-old has had problems but has thrived this summer, winning three handicaps over 1m at Yarmouth and rising 19lb in the weights. Ed Walker's gelding only had to be nudged out to score impressively on the latest of those starts and, while he has gone up 8lb for that, there could still be more to come. A big, powerful type built to carry weight, he should relish the stiff finish here and will be hard to beat. Conclusion He keeps on improving and while this is a stronger race than he has been contesting of late, I'd still rather be a backer than a layer.

Jubilance 6.10 Kempton SP forecast Evs Showed signs of ability on his debut over 6f at Windsor but improved when running away with a 7f maiden auction at Leicester next time. That saw him sent off joint-favourite for a 7f novice event at Newmarket last time and, while he was unable to land the odds, he still produced a career-best display to finish a close second behind Crius, who has since been an unlucky loser at York. That form is strong and makes him the one to beat.

Conclusion This is a trappy little four-runner affair, so he looks worth opposing at short prices.
