BANK OF OKLAHOMA AND FOURTH FINANCIAL CORP. OF WICHITA, KANSAS,
 AGREE TO ACQUIRE SOONER FEDERAL FROM FIRST GIBRALTAR BANK
 TULSA, Okla., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of Oklahoma and Fourth Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: FRTH) of Wichita, Kan., have contracted with First Gibraltar F.S.B. to purchase all branches and deposits of Sooner Federal Savings and Loan Association, Tulsa, for approximately $31.4 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
 In the transaction, Bank of Oklahoma will assume approximately $520 million in deposits for $16.9 million. The purchase includes 19 offices: three in Tulsa; three in Broken Arrow, and eight offices in the Oklahoma City area. Sooner Federal offices in Newkirk, McAlester, Enid, Ponca City and Frederick are also part of the transaction.
 Fourth Financial Corp., parent company of the $4.2 billion Bank IV, Kansas, will make its debut in the Tulsa banking market through the acquisition of nine of Sooner's 12 Tulsa branches, including the headquarters office located at 20 E. 5th St. Fourth Financial will pay $14.5 million and assume $360 million in deposits.
