SAFETY COUNCIL OF MARYLAND'S DRUG-TESTING SEMINAR
BALTIMORE, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Baltimore Gas & Electric (NYSE: BGE) representatives will discuss the company's experience administering a random drug-testing policy at a Thursday, Nov. 7, seminar sponsored by the Safety Council of Maryland, Inc.
The seminar is designed for the supervisor or manager who will be responsible for administering the new federal guidelines on random drug testing for truck drivers, effective Nov. 14, 1991.
Representatives from the Safety Council of Maryland, the Federal Highway Administration and the National Center for Forensic Science will define the new regulations and drug-testing procedures, identify who must be tested and discuss what carriers must do to comply. BG&E's Dr. F.B. Martenis, manager, Fitness for Duty Program, and Richard G. Anderson, supervisor, Fleet Training & Sales, will comment on BG&E's random drug-testing program.
