BALLISTIVET NAMES THALHUBER CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

MINNEAPOLIS, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- BallistiVet, Inc. (NASDAQ: BVET) today announced it has named Dennis J. Thalhuber to the position of chief financial officer. He replaces Raymond Joyal, who left the company in March to become CEO of another firm.
Since 1991, Thalhuber has been chief financial officer of Seismed Instruments Inc., a position he retains. He will serve both BallistiVet and Seismed.
"Dennis Thalhuber has a special expertise in working with emerging companies, both as start-ups and turnarounds," said David Watrud, president and CEO of BallistiVet. "We need senior-level leadership in the financial area, and we are delighted to find someone of Dennis' talent.
"BallistiVet is totally committed to achieving success in its sole area of focus -- the animal health industry. We believe Dennis' healthcare and small business experience in emerging growth companies will be a great asset as we continue to strive to grow our business."
Prior to joining Seismed, Thalhuber was investment officer and controller of North Star Ventures, Inc. and Adler Management Corp., both of Minneapolis. He was business manager and controller of Minnesota Pay Television, and operations manager and controller of Bronson Shoe Co., Minneapolis.
Thalhuber is a certified public accountant and received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn.
BallistiVet is a Minnesota-based company that manufactures and markets products for the cattle health market. The company's patented ballistic drug delivery system, which replaces traditional needle and syringe methods, allows inoculation of animals, without restraint, from ranges up to 50 feet using an air-powered rifle.
