BALLISTIVET NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT, MANUFACTURING

 MINNEAPOLIS, July 13 -- BallistiVet, Inc. (NASDAQ:BVET) announced today that it has named Karen Ruth-Jarmon as vice president, manufacturing. Ms. Ruth-Jarmon, 37, joins BallistiVet from Solvay Animal Health, Inc., where she served as manager, biologics production. David Watrud, president and CEO of BallistiVet, said, "Karen Ruth-Jarmon's outstanding experience in biological production directly complements the talents and experience of our already-strong management team. Our sales efforts, implemented as part of our new marketing strategy, are beginning to bear fruit, and are driving the need for a seasoned manufacturing executive of Karen's caliber to help position us for the growth we are anticipating. We're very pleased to have someone with Karen's experience and ability join BallistiVet."
 Ruth-Jarmon holds a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Indiana University.
 BallistiVet is a Minnesota-based company that manufactures and markets products for the cattle-health market, which approximates $1 billion in the United States. The company's patented ballistic vaccine delivery system, which replaces traditional needle and syringe methods, allows inoculation of animals, without restraint, from ranges up to 20 feet using an air-powered rifle.
