BAKER OIL TOOLS COMBINES OPERATIONS UNDER ONE NAME

HOUSTON, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- As a means of better identifying an expanded range of core products and services to customers, all company operations will be combined under the Baker Oil Tools name, according to Ed Howell, president of Baker Oil Tools.
Accordingly, Howell announced that the company will no longer utilize the names Tri-State Oil Tools or Wilson Fishing Services. Both Tri-State and Wilson had been combined with Baker Oil Tools in a recent restructuring move by Baker Hughes Incorporated.
"With the addition of the Tri-State and Wilson operations, our vast array of capabilities offered through 15 different but complimentary product lines allow us to offer a more comprehensive service in response to our customers' changing needs," commented Howell. "Simply stated, Baker Oil Tools is people and products providing solutions for completions, workovers and fishing."
Houston-based Baker Oil Tools, a Baker Hughes company (NYSE: BHI), is the worldwide leading provider of downhole services and equipment for oil and gas wells.
