BAKER/OTS INTERNATIONAL AWARDED CONTRACT IN YEMEN

 PITTSBURGH, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Baker/OTS International, an operating unit of Michael Baker Corp. (AMEX: BKR), has been awarded a contract to provide technical manpower and training program services to Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd. in Yemen.
 The contract calls for Baker/OTS International to provide technical manpower services through a mixed-nationality operations and maintenance team consisting of European, Arab and Asian personnel over a two-year period. Contract provisions also require the development and implementation of a training program for Yemini nationals during the provision of services.
 "We're particularly pleased to gain this assignment," said Dr. Robert Rudin, senior vice president of Baker/OTS, "since it represents our first contract in Yemen."
 Michael Baker Corp. subsidiaries provide engineering, construction and operations and maintenance services worldwide.
