BACHMAN AND NETRON SIGN WORLDWIDE JOINT MARKETING AND TECHNOLOGY AGREEMENT

 BURLINGTON, Mass., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Bachman Information Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BACH) and Netron Inc., today announced a worldwide marketing agreement and development partnership.
 Under terms of the agreement, Bachman gains international rights to distribute Netron's object-oriented CASE development software. In North America, Bachman and Netron will co-market each other's products, with each company retaining sales responsibility for their respective product lines.
 To ensure long-term customer value from the relationship, the agreement also calls for the formation of a Design Council to provide a framework for the technical exchange between the two companies. The council will include representatives of product development and product management groups from both companies. Together, with joint customers, the council will carry out advisory and planning functions, with emphasis on the architecture and function of an integration layer between the Bachman/Analyst and Netron/CAP products.
