Azerbaijan,Turkey : SOCAR: Oil Shipment from CEYHAN dropped 16.4% to 2.14m tons last month.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has unleashed the newest statistical figures on the exports of Azerbaijani oil through the main export pipeline BakuTbilisiCeyhan (BTC).
SOCAR has announced that there has been a 16.4% decline in the shipment of Azeri oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan in June from the previous month.
The company has disclosed that shipment of 2.14 million tons of oil from Ceyhan has been recorded in the month of June as against 2.56 million in May 2016.
SOCAR has revealed that the overall shipping attributable to the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) stood at 1.42 million tons in June as against 1.558 million tons in the previous month.
During the first six months of 2016, there has been overall shipping of Azeri oil of 14.8 million tons from Ceyhan, with SOFAZs stake of 8.66 million tons.
Overall 305.968 million tons of Azeri oil has been shipped from the Turkish port since the initiation of transshipment to July 1, 2016.
There had been shipment of Azeri oil of 29.079 million tons from Ceyhan in last year, comprising around 18.546 million tons of SOFAZ.
