Ayda ready to make a name for herself; THE X FACTOR STV.
IT'S all change for The X Factor this year, with Simon Cowell hoping a new judging panel will add much-needed energy to what feels like a tired format.
Cowell has brought in Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda as well as One Direction's Louis Tomlinson to the panel.
While Loose Woman viewers will know Ayda, 39, for many others she is just Mrs Williams and eyebrows were raised when she took Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger's spot.
But showing a feistiness we hope she will continue to display as a judge, Ayda said: "I'm OK with that. I'm here to find some great talent and make some great TV. So that's really my focus. I want to help someone achieve their dreams, so whatever someone wants to say, that makes it more exciting because if it wasn't a challenge it wouldn't be much fun.
"I'm excited to be the underdog and show the boys how it's done." There could be some boyband battling between Robbie and Louis, 26, who got his big break on The X Factor.
He auditioned for the show in 2010, was eliminated as a solo singer but then put together with four others to become One Direction.
Louis then became a world star. He admitted being a judge showed him a different side to the show, especially the Six Chair Challenge: "It was as brutal, if not more so, than you see on TV."
WHEN: No date has been announced but assuming it follows the format of previous years, it's likely to begin on September 1.
