Awards scholarships at Washington Nationals Game.

At its annual Tax Education/Washington Nationals Baseball Game event in early May, the Baltimore-Washington TEI Chapter awarded $10,000 in scholarships to students pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) degree at American University in Washington, D.C., and the University of Baltimore, School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. TEI scholarships have been established at each institution to recognize students with outstanding academic achievements while pursuing an advanced degree in taxation. The scholarships are funded annually by the chapter. Lillyanna Paulino of American University received an award of $5,000, and Lindsay Hopkins and Phillip Warsal of the University of Baltimore received awards of $2,500 each.
