Award-symposia papers featured in January issue of JCT Research.

Reflecting the highest level of technical information, the inaugural issue of JCT RESEARCH will feature the 2003 FSCT Mattiello Memorial Lecture, as well as the second JCT Symposium in Print. Focusing on the topic of miniemulsions, the Symposium in Print is based on the Roy W. Tess Award in Coatings Symposium honoring Mohamed S. El-Aasser, which was sponsored by the American Chemical Society's Division of Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering, in August 2002. Included in JCT RESEARCH are:

2003 Mattiello Memorial Lecture--"A Holistic Perspective of Coatings Technology"--C.R. Hegedus

JCT Symposium in Print--Miniemulsions:
"Miniemulsions: Overview of Research and Applications"--M.S. El-Aasser
 and E.D. Sudol

 "Optimizing Nitroxide-Mediated Miniemulsion Polymerization Processes"
 --M.F. Cunningham, M. Lin, and B. Keoshkerian

"Controlled Coagulation of Emulsion Polymers"--E. Kostansek

"Knowledge-Based Control of Emulsion Polymerization Tailoring Adhesive
 Properties"--O. Elizalde, M. Vicente, C. Plessis, J.R. Leiza, and J.M.

"Particle Morphology Development in Hybrid Miniemulsion Polymerization"
 --J.G. Tsavalas, F.J. Schork, and K. Landfester

"Preparation of Polymerizable Miniemulsions by Ultrasonication"--K.
