Avison Young announces long-term industrial lease in Edison.

Byline: Jessica Perry

Jeffrey Heller, principal and managing director of Avison Young's New Jersey offices, announced the firm closed a 10-year, 208,391-square-foot lease for Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC at 60 Distribution Blvd. in Edison.

The industrial facility is part of the Exit 10 submarket.

Concordance Healthcare Solutions, a national, multi-market health care distribution company, will use the facility at 60 Distribution Center as a warehouse and distribution center for medical supplies and health care equipment, Avison Young said. Concordance is moving from a previous location in Secaucus.

An Avison Young team consisting of Timothy Cadigan, senior vice president; Matthew Turse, senior vice president; and John Recchia, associate, along with Pinnacle Corporate Real Estate Advisory Services Inc., represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

The Avison Young team negotiated the deal as a direct lease with the building owner, Heller Industrial Parks Inc., and the team's strong familiarity with this particular market served well in this transaction, the company said.

"This deal reflects the fact that demand for large functional warehouse space is still continuing to rise with limited supply," noted Cadigan.
