Automated registration of vital records to be piloted in Bishkek.

The automated information system for registration of vital records will be launched at the Central Vital Statistics Office on August 27.

The system will be piloted until September 30, the State Registration Service said.

The given information system will be launched across Kyrgyzstan since November 1. Upon introduction of the system, 60 district vital records offices throughout the country will be automated.

"The given registration system of citizens will use unique personal identification numbers that are designated to each citizen of the country. The agreement on reciprocal interdepartmental exchange of information was signed between the State Registration Service and Social Fund in connection with this," the State Registration Service said.

Automation of registration of vital records will significantly shorten paperwork, minimize manual labor, reduce processing time and mistakes in vital records, improve the quality of services.
