Automate Windows 2000 Tasks And Increase Efficiency With New Learning Tree Hands-On Course.

Learning Tree International, Inc. (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) today announced the release of a new Hands-On IT course, Automating Windows 2000 Administrative Tasks, in which participants learn to use scripting technologies to automate common administrative tasks, increase productivity, improve IT service delivery and make use of sophisticated custom management tools.

During this five-day course, participants will gain extensive hands-on experience using VBScript, Jscript and other scripting languages to:

1. Automatically execute routine tasks and maintain healthy

operations

2. Add and delete users, control group membership and set

security

3. Automate large-scale Active Directory changes using ADSI

4. Managing computer configurations with Windows Management

Instrumentation (WMI)

5. Detect stopped services and alert administrators

6. Develop Web-based management solutions using ASP.

Automating Windows 2000 Administrative Tasks will join Learning Tree's library of Windows 2000 courses, which includes the comprehensive introductory course, Windows 2000, as well as Windows 2000 Desktop Administration, Windows 2000 Planning and Deployment, Windows 2000 Optimization and Troubleshooting, Windows 2000 Security, and Windows 2000 Internetworking and Communication.

Automating Windows 2000 Administrative Tasks is an elective course in Learning Tree's Windows 2000 Systems and Networks Certified Professional certification program.
