Austrian govt starts tender for waste containers.

(SeeNews) - Jul 14, 2014 - The procurement unit of Austria's federal government, Die Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG), has launched a negotiated tender procedure for the supply of waste containers to be used throughout the country.

The value of the three-year framework contract is estimated at between EUR 8.9 million (USD 12.1m) and EUR 9 million, according to the contract notice with document number 235932-2014 published in the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) on Saturday.

The waste containers are for the states of Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg, Upper Austria, Carinthia, Styria, Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. The deal is divided into five lots. Offers may be submitted for one or more lots.

Bids or participation requests will be accepted by 0900 local time on August 8, 2014. The bids must be written in German.
