Austria's Vorarlberg state awards EUR 8.8 hospital construction deal to local consortium.

(SeeNews) - Jan 9, 2015 - Austrian state of Vorarlberg awarded a contract for hospital construction work worth some EUR 8.8 million (USD 10.4m) to a consortium formed by local companies Jaeger Bau, Hilti & Jehle and Naegelebau.

The consortium will build the intensive care units for 12 operating rooms for the OP-Spange Feldkirch hospital. The contract term will run from February 2, 2015 to May 11, 2018.

The deal was awarded in an open tender procedure, which attracted a total of five bids, according to the contract award notice with document number 6102-2015 published in the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) on Friday. The award criteria included price, extended warranty period and environmental certification of the bidder.
