Australia : Greens think they are above the law.

Greens leader Cassy O'Connor must state whether she supports new Lyon's candidate Fraser Brindley's statement that breaking the law is okay.

Yesterday, when questioned about an incident in his past where Mr Brinkley admitted to breaking the law, Mr Brinkley said he was "proud" of it, and wouldn't rule out breaking the law again.

Ms O'Connor also issued a disingenuous media release where she said that Mr Brindley was a "whitleblower" who "hadn't been convicted" of any crime.

She just neglected to mention that he wasn't convicted because he did a deal with prosecutors which included admitting to breaking the law.

It's ironic that the Greens claim to represent honesty and accountability, yet think breaking the law when it suits them is perfectly acceptable.

No one is above the law - especially not the pious Greens.
