Australia,Oman : OMAN AIR launches STPC in MUSCAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to help transit passengers.

Oman Air has announced that it will launch STPC in order to assist the travelers with longer hours of transit period. The facility will support transit passengers with a waiting time of 8 to 24 hours in MCT International Airport.

The airline will offer this service at no extra cost for high tier economy class as well as all premium fares from Australia. The lower economy class travelers, however, will be able to enjoy this service via paying a nominal price of OMR20=AUD50 per way which will be included on the ticket as a tax.

The airline has presented reorganization of fare from early last month, which facilitates common-rating of interline fares through BKK and KUL. Thus, the planned STPC along with this will deliver an added assistance to the transit passengers while there is no online links on specific days or flights. But, it gives a great chance to the Oman Air s passengers to chill out in Muscat during their waiting period for the onward flights.
